BAPTISM

Our parish rejoices with you over the baptism of your loved one. Generally, we baptize members of our congregation: children or adults. Families who do not live within our boundaries and wish to be baptized here need to bring a letter of permission from the pastor where they reside, authorizing for this baptism to take place outside of the family’s parish.

Please read the Baptism Guidelines for more information.

Baptism Registration Form (Please return to church office)

FIRST RECONCILIATION AND FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

Second-grade children in Faith Formation are prepared for these two sacraments. Parents of children who are beyond the second grade should contact the Coordinator of Faith Formation, to make special arrangements. Parents or guardians of these children are expected to attend a mandatory meeting in the course of the year. They will be notified of the date and time.

RECONCILIATION

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered at Good Shepherd each Saturday from 4:30 to 5:15 PM. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is also available by calling the office for an appointment.

CONFIRMATION

Confirmation preparation for teens begins when they enter the 9th grade and are required to complete one full year of High School Faith Formation. Teens will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation at the end of their second year of High School Faith Formation. Contact the Confirmation Coordinator for more information.

Adults (18+) who have not received the Sacrament of Confirmation can contact the Adult Confirmation Coordinator.
