2nd Year Confirmation Assignments

This year (2026/2027) we are adding a layer to the process of preparation with the addition of reading and written assignments. Inspired by this quote from St. John Paul II, the goal is to provide opportunities for the teens to engage more during their preparation through reading and written assignments. They will engage weekly with Gospel readings, and othere readings between monthly sessions.

Below are links for a Google Form for teens to submit their reading responses. Due dates are be posted next to the links, and the links will be updated for each different reading assignment.

Gospel of Mark Reflections

The overall goal of receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation, indeed all Sacraments, is to enable us through the graces received to grow closer to Our Lord. To this end, the teens will have a weekly Gospel reading to engage with. We are asking that these Gospel reflections be a family assignment. Families can choose how this is done. One suggested format would be that teens, parents do the reading on their own and then choose a time to discuss the readings together as a famliy.
