Summer Camp Check List
Packing list - Be sure to review the packing list that was included in the info packet (linked below and on the parent info webpage). TEENS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PACK ONLY WHAT IS NECESSARY.
GroupMe - If you haven't already, join the Parents GroupMe (linked below). Once we leave for camp, all communication for our group will be through the GroupMe app. Parents will also receive general camp updates from Life Teen.
Themed dinner - Each year at camp, there is a themed dinner; the theme this year is Safari! 🐘 🦒 Teens can dress as creatively as they wish, or keep it simple.
Camp mail - You and any other friends and family you want to invite can send a letter to your teens. On the camp mail page, there are week options. Our week of camp is Week 35, July 5-10
Away day - We will have an away day that will have options for rock wall climbing, zip lining, swimming, and other water activities. The location for the away day is Candlelight Ranch, and they require a release form (linked below).
Departure Information
Sunday, July 5: Plan to arrive no later than 10:00 AM. We will gather in front of the church near the bell tower. Before we depart, we'll take a group picture and receive a blessing.
Return Information
Friday, July 10:We are scheduled to depart from camp by 1:00 PM and should arrive at Good Shepherd around 3:00 PM. We will send travel updates along the way.
