This Endowment Fund provides a vehicle for the Church of the Good Shepherd parish community and the broader community of Schertz to share a part of their Legacy by contributing to this endowment.

THE ENDOWMENT'S PURPOSE is to provide an annual distribution to Church of the Good Shepherd parish for ministry and operations. The annual distribution is 5.0% of a rolling 3-year average market value in the Endowment Fund.

CATHOLIC SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE INVESTING
The Church of the Good Shepherd Endowment Fund is a permanently restricted fund managed by the Catholic Community Foundation to ensure its growth, protection into perpetuity, and its annual grant distributions. The Endowment is invested in a diverse portfolio of stocks, bonds and alternatives guided by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops statement on Socially Responsible Investing, and is managed in strict accordance with the Catholic faith.
